Ruby was a dynamic, energetic, confident dog with tremendous desire to work and
to retrieve! She was our zing-zing, energizer dog. Ready
to take on the world, she goes and goes and goes and .... She
kept us on our toes!
In limited showing (6 trials) in Novice obedience, Ruby earned placements every
time and a High in Trial earned winning a run-off against a multi-HIT
experienced OTCH dog! Ruby earned her CDX July 2009, TD October
2009, UD November 2009, and UDX title July 2011 less than 3 months after
whelping 7 puppies. She earned her TDX April 2012.
Puppies from Ruby's two litters have exceled at field
training, obedience, tracking, and agility. Their accomplishments
have earned Ruby GRCA Outstanding Dam status. One is a FEMA urban search and rescue dog with Texas Task Force One.
Through her daughter, Diamond, Ruby is now the grandmother and
great-grandmother of some
accomplished and promising progeny, carrying on her spirit and zest for life.
