We said it right there on our home page:  "Our vision of the Golden Retriever: an athletic versatile working dog, a companion beyond compare, beautiful to behold, and possessed of a kind and generous spirit."   Walter is all that!  He is sweet, funny and fun to live with, full of drive and desire, confident, eager to work and eager to please, and handsome!   He has a perpetual "Happy Happy Happy" attitude.

Walter has completed his Master Hunter title at 3 years of age, thanks to the expert training of Brent Walls, Artisan Retrievers (Giddings, TX).   He balances excellent marking with team work on blind retrieves, and possesses excellent water courage.  Future plans include continuing to run Master tests, aiming for the Master National; as well as training for the agility and obedience trials.

Walter is a moderate boy, standing 23.5 inches at the shoulder and weighing 75 lb. in hard working condition.  He has a medium gold coat with correct, easy-care texture.  Full dentition with a level bite.  Dark pigment.
