We call Gator our ADD child. Gator is most happy retrieving anything, whether it be a tennis ball, or a bumper. His favorite antic is to take off for the neighbor's pool when he decides he has gotten too hot chasing whatever. Gator desperately wants to please, and has the best recall of any of my dogs (except when he decides it's time to jump in the pool!) Gator was shown in the breed ring -- he has a number of reserves to his credit, with a rank amateur (me!) showing him! His body is absolutely beautiful -- nary a roll on the move. He could use more "head", and his bite is level, but probably would have finished with a handler. But with all his "issues", we decided he would be happier neutered, and since I knew I would never breed him, the decision was made. He is much happier now, and can be in the presence of other dogs without starting anything.
